Rules for using warm wax:

Cartridge method

Heat the wax in an electric heater to t +40 °C. Treat the skin at the depilation site with a pre-depilation lotion or foam. Without removing the cartridge from the heater, roll the heated wax cartridge over the depilation strip and make sure the wax is sufficiently heated. Apply the wax to the treated area of skin in the direction of hair growth. Apply the depilation strip, making sure the end of the strip is in a zone free of wax. Press the strip firmly against the skin. Grab the free end of the strip and remove it with a sharp motion against the direction of hair growth, parallel to the skin. Repeat the procedure on the next area. Wax can be applied to the same zone no more than 2 times. At the end of the procedure, be sure to remove any remaining stickiness and wax residue with a post-depilation lotion.

Contraindications: acute and chronic skin diseases, varicose veins at the depilation site.

Common mistakes when depilating with warm waxes:

– incorrect wax application (against hair growth) and incorrect strip removal (with hair growth);

– pulling off the strip perpendicular to the skin — this leads to bruising;

– repeated application of wax to the same spot leads to damage of the upper layer of the epidermis.
